Noah Langley, Maintenance Technician

Noah Langley started in November 2022 as the newest member of the Portland Properties Maintenance Team. Prior to joining us, he held various property management positions throughout central and southern Maine.  He is excited to apply what he’s learned in those positions to help maintain our commercial building portfolio here in Portland, Maine.  In his spare time, Noah enjoys using his hands to make new, useful products out of things that have seen better days.

John DiFiore, Maintenance Technician

John DiFiore is a member of the Portland Properties Maintenance Team. On the job, John is highly regarded for his easygoing, positive nature. Born and raised in Portland, John is a trained mason who enjoys keeping his skills sharp with new projects at work and at home (the next is a pizza oven). When he’s not working, you might find him volunteering at a Portland soup kitchen, boating, riding a motorcycle, or spending time with his son and daughter or any of his 10 siblings.

Rick Hinkle, Maintenance Technician

Rick Hinkle is a member of the Portland Properties Maintenance Team. Before joining us, he worked as a remodeling contractor, and in the Navy as an electrician. Our tenants always appreciate his meticulous attention to detail. Rick has two daughters, both honor students, and lives in Old Orchard Beach. In his spare time, he enjoys presenting comedy and working on vehicles.

Ryan Nadeau, Maintenance Technician

Ryan Nadeau is a member of the Portland Properties Maintenance Team. Before joining us, he worked in residential property management. Ryan has a vast skillset in carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. Ryan lives in Casco and enjoys being outdoors, specifically ice fishing during the winter months.

Daniel Bernard, Property Manager

Dan Bernard is the Property Manager for Portland Properties and joined the company in December 2020. He adds 5 years of facilities and property management experience and has a background in business management, customer service, and the electrical trade.  Dan is a problem solver and always looks for quality, long term solutions to complex issues. Dan’s favorite part of his job is working with and supporting the businesses that occupy Portland Properties’ spaces. Dan grew up in Southern NH and graduated from Keene State College with a B.S. in Management. He now lives in Freeport, ME, with his wife and can often be found trail running, cycling, and surfing.

Greg Rainforth, Director of Real Estate Operations

Greg Rainforth is Portland Properties Director of Real Estate Operations.  He manages the construction oversight, leasing administration, budgeting, scheduling, staffing, safety and coordination of resources within Portland Properties portfolio. He has almost 20 years of experience in the Real Estate, Construction, and Property Management realm, having worked with national and multi-national retail brands including Timberland, Planet Fitness, Lindt Chocolate and Oath Pizza.  Greg is a native to Maine and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Business Management/Economics, and also holds an MBA from Babson College. He currently resides in the Town of York with his wife Michele, son Nick, and daughter Emily. In his spare time you can find him trying to catch striped bass in and around York Harbor.

Pam Wilson, Accounting Specialist

Pam Wilson is an Accounting Specialist at Portland Properties. Before joining our team, she worked at Webster Engineering in Lewiston for 14 years as the Office Manager. Prior to that, she worked at PRC Industrial in Portland for over 20 years as Office Manager and Bookkeeper. She likes to walk, cook, work in the garden and has retired from raising Havanese dogs. Pam and her husband Brian of over 42 years live in Falmouth and have two ‘now grown’ children, Brianna and Nicholas.

Deb Vargo, Office Manager

Deb Vargo manages the Portland Properties office, making sure our computers work, our bills are paid, and that we all know when the next storm is coming.

Kati Glencross, Human Resources Director

Kati Glencross is Portland Properties Human Resources Director. She has over 10 years of experience in the HR field in both the private sector and public sector. Kati holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). She’s currently a Co-Chair of Membership and VP, Communications at the Human Resources Association of Southern Maine (HRASM). She volunteers at the Center for Grieving Children and is a Big Sister at Big Brother Big Sisters of Southern Maine and has mentored her “Little” since 2016. Kati lives in York County and enjoys time with family and friends and spends most of her weekends at camp by the lake in the summer months.

Sam Brown, Chief Financial Officer and Controller

Sam Brown is Portland Properties Chief Financial Officer and Controller. He is a CPA with a background in public and corporate accounting in a variety of industries. Sam holds a Masters in Professional Accounting and BS in accounting from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. It was at Butler University that Sam met his wife, Meredith (a Mainer) and she brought him back to Maine with her. Sam lives in Kennebunk with his wife Meredith and their two boys Jacob and Evan.

Michael Cianchette, President and Legal Counsel

Michael Cianchette is Portland Properties’ President and in-house legal counsel. He was the chief counsel to Gov. Paul LePage from 2012-2013 and deputy counsel from 2011-2012. A Navy reservist, he was deployed to Afghanistan from 2013-2014 as a trainer and adviser to the Afghan National Police. He is an alumnus of the Leadership Maine program and holds a B.A. in economics and political science from Boston College along with a JD and an MBA from Suffolk University. Michael lives in Cumberland with his wife Michelle and their oldest son Luke, daughter Julia, and youngest son Dean.
